TIP is paving the way to sustainability

Just over six months ago TIP embarked on a journey that will not only transform our organisation but a journey that will contribute to making our industry more sustainable. By launching a dedicated Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) function we have given a powerful response to the question: What will our role be in building a world worth living in for generations to come?

Establishing a function, adopting a strategy, and crafting a narrative around sustainability won’t make any impact without us taking concrete actions. So far, we have made plans to supply some of our workshops with solar panels and replace all lighting systems with LED lights. We continue to roll out our telematics-based service TIP Insight and electric vehicles that will enable us to offer green products to our customers. We are starting to improve our waste management to reduce residual waste along with other initiatives supporting our ESG vision.

We are also becoming more articulate about our sustainability ambitions. We have published an ESG video on YouTube, bringing our strategy to life in an entertaining way. To give us more visibility within our supply chain we will continue to make contributions to industry magazines, such as Global Trailer Magazine.

Please take some time to view the video and read the article.
